Well, if that’s the case then the WOW International Art Show can be said to be an eclectic collection of stunning glimpses of the world seen through the eyes of the international community has traveled far and wide.
Global citizens from as many as 17 countries exhibited at the art show that was organized by
the Pune Expat Club (PEC). Participants and attendees included Danish, Swedish, Iranian,
Israeli, Slovakian, British, Scottish, American, Indian, Australian, French, German, Italian, and
many more expatriates who now call Pune their home. Art is universal and hence impressions from around the world were presented in this unique art show of photos, paintings, and art installations. The entire proceeds from the sale and auction of the exhibits were donated to charity. Now that’s what we call Art with Heart.

Kathleen Harkins – North Carolina, USA
I took this photo at a local garden back home. I loved the reflection of the sky in the water. I’ve been in India for a year as my husband got posted at Cummins India in Pune. When I miss home, I look at this picture and smile.

Marcus Hot black – United Kingdom
I have seen Indian women lead a very hard life yet there is a sense of joy they carry in everything they do. I love the bright sarees they wear, I dropped different color paints on the canvas after I finished painting the lady to create a sort of jail to depict how today’s women are breaking barriers and getting empowered.

Andreas, MD of Seco, and son Remy Fritz, student of Mercedes Benz International School – Germany.
When we were in Cochi, we saw this ice cream truck. I thought it was different and colorful compared to the ice cream trucks back home.

Patricia with husband Frank Schoubben, Project Manager of Datwyler – Belgium.
We love traveling and when we were in the US, we went to see the Grand Canyon in the state of Arizona. We were lucky to see this beautiful sunset and just had to capture the moment.

Lena Brandt – Denmark
I went to Mulshi and that’s when I saw many cows and buffaloes decorated by their owners in a lot of colors and accessories. They were celebrating a certain festival and I was extremely fascinated by this extraordinary sight. I haven’t seen anything like this back home. The animal looked so beautiful.

Julie Leverton
I was in Goa and came across a stall at the Anjuna market selling various spices. For me, this was what India is all about – colorful, vibrant, and hot!
