Business Visa

A business visa to India is a type of visa that allows foreign nationals to visit India for business-related activities, such as meetings, conferences, negotiations, and other professional purposes. It is not intended for training, installation, knowledge transfers or other activities that fall under employment activities.

Employment Visa from home country

An employment visa to India allows foreign nationals to work in India. This visa is obtained from the individual’s home country before traveling to India. It is designed for foreign nationals who have secured employment in India and wish to work for a specific employer.

MHA Clearance

The MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) clearance for restricted nationalities refers to a security clearance process conducted by the Indian government before granting an employment visa to foreign nationals from certain countries deemed to be of security concern. This clearance is an additional step in the visa application process for individuals from specific countries.

Investor Visa / PRS

An investor visa or a Permanent Residency Status (PRS) program is for individuals who wish to relocate to India by making a significant investment. This recent initiative helps India to attract foreign investment and talent. The eligibility is based on amount of investment, job creation & nature on business.

OCI Application

OCI stands for Overseas Citizen of India. It is a type of long-term visa that allows foreign citizens of Indian origin, or certain categories of foreign citizens, to stay and work in India indefinitely. The OCI card is not the same as full Indian citizenship but offers several benefits, including multiple entries into India and exemption from registration requirements for long stays.

POST-LANDING SERVICES

FRRO / Resident Permit

Foreign nationals (including foreigners of Indian origin), visiting India on long term resident visa for more than 180 days or visitors having special endorsement on their visa asking for registration, are required to register with the concerned FRRO office having jurisdiction over the place of stay. This needs to be done within 14 days of his/her arrival in India.

C-Form Compliance

All foreign passport holders staying in rental accommodations in India have to file a C-Form with the Commissioner of Police. This is a mandatory security requirement, without which there could be penal action. C-Form is also a mandatory document to file for FRRO or Resident Permit.

Visa & RP Extension

The initial work visa is issued to a foreign national for legal employment in India has a typical validity of 12 months. A resident permit extension is the process of extending the permission for a foreign national to continue residing and working beyond the initial period granted by the work visa. This extension is an in-country extension after checking no criminal, tax payment and other validations.

Exit Permit

If a foreign worker has overstayed their visa or violated immigration laws or employed in sensitive sectors like defense; they may be subject to penalties or restrictions on leaving the country. In such cases, an exit visa may be required before they are allowed to depart.

New Baby Visa

A new baby visa service assists parents in obtaining the necessary visa or documentation for their newborn child born in India. It includes guidance, documentation, application and liaising with immigration authorities to secure legal status for the newborn.

Indian Citizenship

Foreigners who meet specific eligibility criteria and have been residing in India for a certain period can apply for Indian citizenship through the registration process. This includes spouses of Indian citizens, persons of Indian origin, and certain long-term visa holders.
