Rangoli, Diya’s & Festive Fare at this Pre-Diwali Bash

The festival of lights is just around the corner and besides the delicious food, crackers, and blessings, people look forward to the parties and get-togethers. Giving a true taste of the celebration while adding its uniqueness, Phoenix Market city, Pune together with Minoti Makim, hosted a group of city expats and socialites for a pre-Diwali bash, a yearly ritual. Adorned with gorgeous festive decor lights, lamps, diya’s, flowers, and rangoli, the shopping destination was exuberating love for all the guests who were in for this special occasion. Dressed in traditional Indian outfits, the folks had a gala time exchanging pleasantries, making new friends, and chatting up with their old buddies while enjoying cocktails and desi music. The DJ took the festivity up a notch by playing some of the best fusion chartbusters in the house. Later in the evening, guests also tried their hands at making rangolis, putting mehndi, and decorating diya’s as an experience of Diwali. The affair got livelier with Punjab Grill laying out a scrumptious dinner for the guests. Speaking on the occasion, Arun Arora, center director of Phoenix Market City Pune said, “While it has always been a pleasure to host our special guests for different occasions and reasons; it means more to us during Diwali as it is a festival of sharing love and joy. These annual get-togethers allow us to give them an experience of world-class hospitality and at the same time, introduce them to the world of offerings that the mall has to offer.” The get-together witnessed guests like Vinod Makhija, Maushmi Dhawan, Rohan and Rajvi Bhansali, Chahat Dalal, Aniruddha Patil, Sonia Konjeti, and Ali Asgar, among others. All of them agreed that the evening was one to remember, giving them some cherished memories and an additional reason to look forward to Diwali next season.
